Air: Group Show with Mary Bergs, Walter Early and Ben Moren

This installation is the third in a series of Clothesline Drawings. The project began as a temporary installation in the backyard with paper constructions hung on the clothesline and photographed in the direct sun, playing with transparency, silhouette, and negative space. In this iteration, color is introduced and the pieces show a history of being folded, handled, stained, and washed. These works on paper carry with them the sensitivity and intimacy of an item of clothing worn close to the body until ruined or forgotten.
